Day 5: Seville is love.
So in seville, it was this super quaint and charming capital(of audalusia) that i totally enjoyed. Perhaps it was the weather, making everything look SO damn beautiful, plus the white horses and their carriages and topping all of it, the castles.
After lunch, we visit Seville Cathedral, which is apaprently the largest in Spain and the burial place of Christopher Colombus. While listening to the tour guide, i actually had scientific queries as to why the body is here and stuff about decomposition, but i forgotten all about it now. But i didnt ask the guide cause i thought it would be hard for him to understand me LOL
Then we climb up this endless flights of stairs up Giralda tower that had mumsy panting and huffing LOL ^^
And Behold the view from above.
The tower has a total of four views, of the castle, the quaint little houses. Snapped pictures until i think my fingers are gonna break even though every single one of them look alike, they are beautiful in their own way.
When you're up there, you forgot how tough the route is, up. All the hardwork feels like it paid off. As you stared, you fell in love, and you never want to leave the top. Sounds familiar?
So, we continued wandering around.
This key is apparent to lock up and i think i took them cause i thought they are extremely big, but it doesnt appear so from the pictures. *perplexed
Thru Maria Lulsa park, snapping pics of the wonderful weather plus the beautiful horses. I think i totally embarrassed myself but making all these cooing noises. I miss horse riding.
So it's like my hands automatically click and click while mumsy kept saying eh i take for you but i kept holding on to the camera cos it was really super breathtaking.
And we went to the Jewish Quarter and i thought that built in effect is appropriate. LOL. It was very jewish i thought, with a lot of passageways and doors and locks.
And out we went, to the Plaza de Espana.
This picture is so advertisey!!!
Actually the whole plaza is amazingly huge, and i couldnt manage to take a bloody full shot cause i will have to walk super far. And many climbed the stairs up the second level to better take but i reckon it makes no difference cause it is just that gigantic. & probably requires some panorama or wide angle cam which my cam doesnt have and i have no idea how to use the panorama in my phone cam LOL
So, i was alone at this awesome place cause mumsy was hiding in the safe warm comfort f the bus cause she was freezing from the walk, and alot of our tour group mates asked me to take pictures for them and kept saying wah meimei take until so nice. LOL. So that explains my solo pic as well which they very nicely offered.
Then, we were off to the flamingo dance. It wasnt what i expected. Quite. The advices i've gotten was, dont sit in the front cause they stamp and kick and the dust flies and it is super noisy. True story, bro.
But nevertheless, it was magnificent and full of wows cause of the emotions they brought out really well. The fierce, dignified beauty.
Sangria that was.. explosive. By the time i finished the glass i was red.
So that marks the end of one of the cities i really liked in Spain, which accounted for two blogposts, and the next day we travelled straight to Portugal. Contrary to what i thought, it was unexpected. But i shall leave to another blogpost. LOL
