Just read an article about life support. It's funny how people can be so adament on what they see, hear and believe and refuse to see otherwise.

As in, a coin has two sides right?

There must be a reason why some people feel another way.

People are always arguing, why fight the inevitable? its your choice, its up to you.

But no, some people refuses, quoting religious beliefs and whatsoever. And i respect that.

Just respect medical stands too.

Medicine is made to save lives. Not end it.

Its debatable if it is prolonging agony.

But all in all, when medicine was first created, the idea is to save.

I dont agree with all that medicine has become, what the profession has gone to mean, but i know, that line, it is always to save more people.

People who needs to be saved.

Life support maintains life. That's all.

I think there's a purpose/ value to everything in life. It may be hidden, marred, or reduce by some things unpleasant, but remembering the inital value, purpose makes you look at everything differently.

I believe in choice, so yes, if the patient doesnt want to be on life support, then so be it.

But dont ever diminish the value of some thing you dont approve.

Talking about medicine always raisea strong reaction. The views about it are like the north and south pole.

Anyway work was so much fun today. ;)

But im damn tired, back aching, legs aching and stomach cramping. Damn cui.
